Daily Details

Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival & City Tour

Welcome to Cambodia! Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in.

After a short rest, begin exploring Cambodia's vibrant capital. Visit the magnificent Royal Palace, a colorful Khmer-style complex built in 1866 by King Norodom, followed by the nearby Silver Pagoda, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The pagoda houses an impressive collection of Buddha statues crafted from gold, silver, diamonds, and precious gemstones.

Continue to the Independence Monument before visiting the National Museum, home to more than 5,000 Khmer artifacts made from bronze, wood, gold, silver, copper, and sandstone.

Enjoy a walk along the scenic riverside where the Mekong, Tonle Sap, Bassac, and Tonle Rivers meet. Visit Wat Phnom (Phnom Daun Penh), the sacred hilltop temple that gave Phnom Penh its name.

End the day at the iconic Central Market, a striking Art Deco landmark built in 1937 and designed by French architect Louis Chauchon. Browse its countless stalls offering local products, handicrafts, jewelry, and souvenirs.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap

After breakfast, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), a former high school that was converted into one of the Khmer Rouge regime's most notorious security prisons. The museum offers a powerful insight into Cambodia's tragic history.

Continue to the lively Russian Market, one of Phnom Penh's most popular shopping destinations, where you can browse handicrafts, clothing, souvenirs, and local products while experiencing everyday Cambodian life.

Later, transfer to the bus station for your journey to Siem Reap, the gateway to the magnificent Angkor temples.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat

After breakfast, begin your exploration of the legendary Angkor Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Enter the ancient city through the impressive South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire. Continue to the remarkable Bayon Temple, famous for its giant smiling stone faces.

Visit the Terrace of the Elephants, Baphuon Temple, the Royal Palace Area, Phimeanakas, and the Terrace of the Leper King, each showcasing the extraordinary architecture and artistic achievements of the Khmer civilization.

In the afternoon, discover the magnificent Angkor Wat, Cambodia's most iconic temple and the world's largest religious monument. Built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II in honor of the Hindu god Vishnu, Angkor Wat is celebrated for its magnificent towers, intricate bas-reliefs, and remarkable Khmer architecture.

This evening, enjoy free time exploring the lively Angkor Night Market, where you can browse local handicrafts, sample Cambodian cuisine, or relax at nearby cafés and pubs.

Day 4: Angkor Small Circuit & Grand Circuit

Today, continue exploring the remarkable temples of Angkor.

Begin with the famous Small Circuit, including Ta Prohm, where giant tree roots embrace the ancient temple ruins. Continue to Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Ta Keo, Thommanon, and Chau Say Tevoda, each offering unique examples of Khmer architecture and history.

In the afternoon, explore the highlights of the Grand Circuit. Visit Preah Khan, one of Angkor's largest temple complexes, followed by Neak Pean, a unique island temple built in the middle of an ancient reservoir.

Continue to Ta Som, East Mebon, and finally Pre Rup Temple, where you can enjoy a spectacular sunset over the surrounding countryside.

Day 5: Tonle Sap Lake & Local Culture

After breakfast, visit Wat Thmei Memorial, also known as the Killing Fields Memorial, where a glass stupa preserves the remains of victims from the Khmer Rouge period.

Continue to Satcha Handicraft Center, Cambodia's leading artisan center dedicated to preserving traditional Khmer craftsmanship while supporting local communities through sustainable cultural development.

In the afternoon, travel to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Board a traditional wooden boat to explore one of the region's fascinating floating villages, where homes, schools, markets, and daily life exist entirely on the water.

Return to Siem Reap and visit Wat Bo, one of the city's oldest and most respected Buddhist temples, renowned for its beautiful 19th-century murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana.

Before returning to your hotel, enjoy time at a local market to shop for souvenirs and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap Departure

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out.

At the scheduled time, transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight.
