Daily Details

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival – Angkor Wat & Balloon Experience

Welcome to Siem Reap, the gateway to the magnificent Angkor temples. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel before beginning your first exploration of Cambodia's greatest archaeological treasure. Enjoy a memorable tethered helium balloon ride for panoramic views of Angkor Wat, Phnom Bakheng, West Baray, and the surrounding countryside. Continue to the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument, where you'll admire its remarkable Khmer architecture, intricate bas-reliefs, and hundreds of beautifully carved Apsara dancers while learning about the history of the Khmer Empire.


Day 2: Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm Discovery

Spend the day exploring the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom. Enter through the impressive South Gate before visiting the Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Baphuon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, and Phimeanakas. Continue to the iconic Bayon Temple, renowned for its giant smiling stone faces. In the afternoon, visit Ta Prohm, where enormous tree roots intertwine with centuries-old temple ruins, creating one of Angkor's most iconic and atmospheric landmarks.


Day 3: Ang Trapaeng Thmor Wetlands Wildlife Experience

Travel to the Ang Trapaeng Thmor Protected Landscape, one of Cambodia's most important birdwatching destinations. Accompanied by a specialist guide, discover wetlands surrounded by rice paddies that provide a sanctuary for hundreds of bird species, including the rare Sarus Crane and other endangered wildlife. Learn about local conservation efforts while enjoying the peaceful natural scenery before returning to Siem Reap.


Day 4: Banteay Srei – Kbal Spean – Nature Conservation

Journey into the Cambodian countryside to visit the exquisite pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei, celebrated for its intricate Khmer carvings. Continue with a scenic jungle trek to Kbal Spean, home to the famous River of a Thousand Lingas and ancient Hindu carvings hidden beneath flowing water. Visit the Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity to learn about Cambodia's wildlife protection programs before stopping at the Landmine Museum. End the day at Pre Rup Temple, where spectacular sunset views provide a perfect conclusion to the day's adventures.


Day 5: Tonle Sap Lake – Prek Toal Biosphere Reserve

Embark on a scenic boat journey across Tonle Sap Lake to the internationally important Prek Toal Biosphere Reserve. Cruise through one of Southeast Asia's richest freshwater ecosystems while observing diverse birdlife, including storks, pelicans, ibises, and fish eagles. Visit the environmental research station and explore the protected sanctuary with a specialist guide before returning to Siem Reap in the afternoon.


Day 6: Siem Reap Departure

Enjoy breakfast and free time at leisure before transferring to Siem Reap International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your Cambodian adventure to a memorable close.
